First of all, sorry about the quality of the pic as i haven't got my lightbox on me so inking/colouring is not so easy to do rightly.
That aside, this is a little group shot to show just a few of the characters from my new project "Pushopia".
Pushopia is the name of the planet that these little guys (known as Pushopians) hail from. It is a peculiar planet in a dingy little corner of the shuvvit galaxy.
Pushopians themselves are an extremely hardy race capable of surviving an extreme degree of damage, which is just as well 'cos these guys are always getting into scraps and conflicts with each other over the most trivial of events.
In fact there is a very special ceremonial game in Pushopia known as 'Nokkoff' which is used to solve almost all problems on Pushopia, be they political, personal, or otherwise.
The basic premise of 'Nokkoff' is to literally push the opposing Pushopians off the face of the planet and into space (don't worry though the little guys can easily survive that). Not only does 'Nokkoff' easily solve major disputes but it is also a major source of income for the planet as other aliens pay to televise it because it's so silly.
Pushopians are unusual in that there is one basic form of them which can then become any other kind of Pushopian via using a chrysalis (not unlike a butterfly). Here is a quick rundown of some of the more common types of Pushopian :-
Green - the basic, juvenile form of the Pushopian. Depending on it's diet and environment before becoming a chrysalis, it will become an entirely new Pushopian.
Toughguy - a big, burly Pushopian that takes no nonsense from anybody and loves to push things with it's massive strength.
Bendy - a considerably laid-back Pushopian that doesn't really like to push but really likes to run about with it's long legs.
Lairy - a cheeky sod that has elevated rudeness to an art form, it isn't very strong so it relies on tricking foes into traps by taunting them.
Bomber - this type of Pushopian can spontaneously combust with a force equal to even the strongest of Pushopians, unfortunately it's a rather indiscriminate form of attack.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
