This here is just a fun little sketch portraying the royal family of the planet of Pushopia (world setting of my game concept). In no real order i will give a little info on each member.
Mad (as in angry) King Edward the Left-handed - The little words in brackets were ordered by the king to be put into his name to avoid confusion.
A rather tyrannical king by nature, Edward's reign has seen numerous unpopular taxes such as a tax on chips, a tax on eyesight, and a fine for paying taxes without smiling. It seems that every day the king is set upon by revolutionaries and chip-lovers everywhere.
A recent incident cost the king his right arm when crafty revolutionaries rigged his wristwatch with a bomb and successfully detonated it while he was wearing it. What's strange is that the king was wearing the watch on his left wrist.....
'Er Royal Majesty Queen Desiree II - Quite a looker in her prime, age has sadly taken it's toll on the poor queen, as well as a recent incident where revolutionaries attacked her with an ugly stick. Thankfully her fine set of teeth came out unscathed, which is just as well as they are classified as national treasures.
Compared to her husband, the queen is quite a benevolent ruler - she'll never tax you more than 99% of your money, and if it's a rainy day she'll even let you put up an umbrella before you get down in the mud and grovel like the filthy little oik that you are.....
Princess Piper - With her father's tyrannical whimsy, and her mother's *unique* looks, it seems that the princess really did get the best of both worlds. Greatly loved by her parents (and the people of Pushopia if they know whats' good for them) this little princess gets whatever she wants, no matter what, no matter when.
Fair enough, though, the princess is actually quite caring about the plight of the lesser peoples of Pushopia. It is a common sight in Pushopia to see the princess amongst the common pushopians, helping them out with donations of much-needed money, providing they take a running jump off a cliff first.....

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
